Peer Review

When reviewing submitted materials, the editorial board, editorial office, and reviewers are guided by the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the article topic and its alignment with the journal’s scope;
  • Originality, novelty, and the author’s contribution to the scientific field/discussion;
  • Theoretical justification of the topic, thoroughness of literature and sources reviewed;
  • Overall scientific quality of the article, reliability of data and conclusions;
  • Coherence and logical structure of argumentation;
  • Style of presentation;
  • Compliance with text formatting requirements and bibliographic standards.

Materials are accepted by the editorial office via email at c.p@tatar.ru.

The following materials must be submitted to the editorial office:

  • The article, proofread by the author, in Russian or English. The electronic file name must include the first author’s surname and the first three words of the title;
  • Author information;
  • A plagiarism report. The approved uniqueness percentage for article texts according to the Antiplagiat system is at least 80%;
  • If the sole author is a full-time graduate student: a scanned copy of the certificate confirming enrollment; a review of the article by the scientific supervisor.

Articles submitted to the editorial office may be accompanied by a cover letter from the sending organization signed by its head (deputy).

Authors receive confirmation of material receipt from the managing secretary within three days.

Submitted articles are reviewed by the editorial office within 3–4 weeks, checked via the Antiplagiat system for potential improper borrowings, and sent for peer review, based on which the final decision on publication suitability is made.

The editorial office reserves the right to abridge accepted works (notifying authors) and perform editorial corrections. Minor stylistic and formal amendments are made without author approval.

Submitted and accepted articles are not returned. The editorial office reserves the right not to consider articles that violate formatting rules or fail to align with the journal’s thematic scope.

The managing secretary notifies authors via email of peer review results and the publication schedule.

Authors bear responsibility for the scientific content, accuracy of information used in the article, compliance with third-party copyright, and preservation of state and commercial secrets.
